In 1997 Peter first created the symphony production show, ‘Hot August Night’ for 25th anniversary of the live album, with a 40- piece orchestra in a sell-out show in front of 4,000 at the Sydney Convention Centre. Since then, Hot August Night the concert and Classical Diamond has toured all over Australia, New Zealand and his birthplace Ireland, all with world class orchestra’s, The Sydney International, The Aussie Pops, The Perth Symphony, the Canberra Symphony and the RTE Concert Orchestra in Ireland. Along with his warm sparkling personality and a delightful touch of Irish charm and humour, a ‘cult-like’ band of dedicated fans have provided the nucleus of audiences at all his public appearances for the last 30 years.
