It is over 50 years since Neil Diamond stepped on stage at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles with a symphony orchestra and recorded what is still known today as one of the greatest epic live albums of all time. Now that album will be recreated in its original format and note for note by Peter Byrne and the Sydney International Orchestra. Featuring classic songs Crunchy Granola Suite, Cherry Cherry, Sweet Caroline and I am I said.

Having toured over the years with his best friends The Furey’s, Peter’s ability to put the right  voice to every Irish song he sings will leave you wanting more along with his beautiful guitar and bodhrain playing. Eileen McCann  ( Co.Laois )

Eileen McCann is the epitome of a real ‘Irish Colleen’ in looks and personality, with a lifetime history of entertainment. Her career has seen her working extensively in Ireland and Australia, with the cream of Irish performers. Her strong vocal abilities and fiddle playing were captured when ‘Claddagh’ recorded the CD ‘Celtic Reflections’ and the group went on to tour in the show ‘Gael Force Dance’.

An extension of Hot August Night, His Music His Life covers a 50 tribute to an amazing singer songwriter in Neil Diamond once again using a 30 piece symphony orchestra.

Paying tribute to epic albums like Hot August Night, Grammy award winning album Jonathan Livingston Seagull, and the amazing movie The Jazz Singer.

Using a 40 foot rear projection screen Peter tells Neil Diamonds story as it was from the beginning, showing images of Neil from 1966 to date and recreating the sound with the Sydney International Orchestra.

Other amazing moments include an unforgettable tribute to the Grammy award winning duet with Barbara Streisand and the song “You don’t bring me flowers” and the number selling hit of 1968 “Im a beliver” Neil wrote for the monkeys.

This show is truly an inspiration, funny, catchy and most of all takes you on a nostalgic musical journey through the amazing career of the greatest singer songwriter of the 70’s. Four sell-out shows at Sydney’s Star City Casino launched this epic show and it has continued to shine over the last decade.
